Overview

This record, Released May 15th, 2020, is, as Doug Casteen puts it “a love letter to Jason’s family”. With songs about Jason’s mom, Kathleen, who passed in July of 2019, (“Looking Glass”) to songs about finding out Jason’s wife, Lisa, was pregnant with their first child, Brooklyn. (“Over The Moon”) The album features first time song writing collaborations between Adamo and producer, Mark McKee, (“Take Care Of You”, “New Beginning”) and showcases the talents of Drummer Mike McKee of Delta Rae, backing vocals by long time JAB producer and band mate, John Briggs. As well as a guest featured vocal by Raleigh’s own Wade Durham III. (“This Love Is All I Need”) JAB lead guitarist, Doug Casteen, co-wrote some of the songs and added one of his own (“You Are His Drug”) while laying down pretty much any instrument with strings on to the record.

This album is dedicated, in loving memory to my madre, Kathleen Joan Adamo. I love you mom!
